Do you have a favourite sweater with a hole in it? Do you own a lamp that’s flickering on and off and driving you mad? Did a leg fall off one of your dining room chairs and you don’t trust yourself to stick it back on? Do you have a pair of jeans that need patching? Has Grandpa’s clock finally stopped ticking?
It’s amazing the number of people in our community who have very useful skills and are willing to share them with others. Bring your broken items to the Library. Enjoy a cup of coffee or tea while you get the help you need to fix them.
Maybe you would like to join us as a volunteer. The Repair Café will run for three hours once a month on second Saturdays.
